This information illustrates what can be achieved in a well insulated dog box, in spite of the hot, humid temperatures outside. It should be noted that this insulation also acts to keep the dog box warm in the coldest climates by utilizing the dogs body heat to warm the compartment. Thanks, John!

"These are pictures I took yesterday. I mounted a remote thermometer in the Dog box and the receiver in my truck . I added some Ice to the top storage compartment. As you can see on the readout, the outside temp. "in the box" Is 21 degrees lower than the temp. in my truck. I checked the temps 4 hours later, truck temp 85 box temp 70. Thanks for a great box!"
