Doors Patriot doors are not only attractive, they'll last for many, many years! The doors are MIG welded steel and powder coated to prevent rust and corrosion.
Storage Each storage compartment comes with key locks (standard) and is built very tight to keep your personal belongings safe and dry. The storage compartment can also be used as a cooler. Just throw in some ice or frozen containers and you can keep your drinks cold plus make the dog compartment even cooler on hot days!
Vents Patriot vents can be left open, even in the pouring rain, without leaks inside the dog compartment. This will allow your dogs to have plenty of fresh air, even on a blistering hot, rainy day. Each Patriot Dog Box comes standard with 6 vents (two on each side and one in back of each compartment.
Winter Door Covers Patriot winter door covers are standard equipment with each box and are free. Also made from aluminum, they are designed to slip over the back of the steel doors. The steel door has to be opened to remove the winter door. These come in handy in harsher climates and seal the dogs from the outside elements.
Insulation All four walls as well as the floor, center divider and lid are super-insulated with 3/4" Styrofoam. The Styrofoam is "sandwiched" between the inside and outside aluminum. Patriot Dog Boxes are really TWO boxes in one....the inside box and the outside box, with 3/4" Styrofoam between. This costs a lot more and requires more time to build, but it guarantees that your dogs will be comfortable in weather extremes. Patriot Dog Boxes are built to "keep your dogs warm in winter and cool in the summer." Yes, it costs more to build and it's a lot more work, but, at Patriot, we think your dogs are worth it.
